This notice explains how Mediterranean Engines Power Ltd ("MEP", "we") uses the details you send us through this website.

What we collect

When you send a request through the website we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number and company if you give them, the engine serial number, part number and message, and a photo of the engine dataplate if you attach one. Before a photo is sent, your browser resizes it and removes its metadata, including any location data.

The website does not use cookies or tracking. Our web server keeps short technical logs, including IP addresses, to protect the site from abuse.

Why we use it

We use your details only to answer your request: to identify the right parts, quote, arrange service and reply to you. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Who sees it

Requests are delivered to our email, which is provided by Microsoft. We do not sell your details or share them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any follow-up work, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them, by contacting us. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt).
